There are two basic parts to adhesive hook loop tape, one is glue, the other is release paper or PVC. The glue of adhesive hook loop tape is usually hot-melt glue. Because the properties of different glue are different and the environment is different, the effect is naturally different.
Adhesive hook loop tape is widely used in hardware, plastic, paper, toys, PVC, home, etc. Although the adhesive hook loop tape is very practical, but once it comes to winter, there will be a problem that the adhesive hook loop tape does not stick. Many customers will think that they have purchased the bad and inferior adhesive hook loop tape products. In fact, this is not the case. The reason for the non stick is actually a characteristic of the body of the hot-melt glue, which is sensitive to temperature. When the temperature reaches a certain degree, the hot-melt adhesive begins to soften. If it is lower than a certain temperature, the hot-melt adhesive will become brittle. Therefore, the temperature change of the product environment must be fully considered when selecting the hot-melt adhesive hook loop tapes. In winter, it is usually dry. The moisture in the air solidifies due to the cold weather, and the humidity in the air is not enough. So remember to heat it up when using the adhesive hook loop tape products in winter. Hot melt adhesive is one of the most widely used adhesives in textile processing, especially in garment processing. It is widely used in non-woven fabric, carpet seams, fabric lining, zipper and so on. The hot-melt adhesive used in textile industry should have good adhesive strength, excellent softness and water / dry cleaning resistance. In addition, since most of the fabrics are steam treated in the process of setting, the adhesive is required to have the characteristics of high temperature steam resistance, and its softening point is required to be higher than 115 ℃, so as to improve the thermal stability of the adhesive.
What's the way to warm up the adhesive hook loop tape in winter? Heat the back of the adhesive hook loop tape with baking gun, blower, lighter, oven, etc. to recover the viscosity, then tear the adhesive hook loop tape on the product.
